History: Entrepreneur Robert Lee “Porky” Perlatti founded Seattle Tarp Company in 1976. The small family owned business provided the Trucking industry with quality Tarps, Straps and repair services. As the word spread of the quality Tarpaulin products produced at STC the business expanded into many markets such as the stevedoring and shipping industry, supplying dirt slings, safety nets, gangway nets, grain separations, and many other items. Specializing in providing quick delivery of custom quality products STC became a reliable supplier of environmental products. Liners, containment berms and bladders as well as booms of all types are just a few of the products offered in the environmental field of which STC is recognized as one of the top companies nationally.  Since the mid 1980’s STC has become a dependable “Solution Finder” for customers in a wide-ranging field of applications.
